Privacy policy
Last updated 20 October 2026
We know families trust us with very personal things. This page explains what we collect, why, and what happens to it. We aim to follow the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- Your name, email address and, for printed orders, a delivery address.
- Details about your loved one: names, dates, their story, photos and service details.
- Payment records from PayPal (amount, date, invoice number). We never see or store your card details.
Why we collect it
Only to design, print and deliver your booklet, to talk with you about your order, and to keep the business records the law requires. We don't use your details for marketing, and we never sell or rent them.
Who else sees it
- Our printer receives only the final print file and delivery address.
- PayPal processes your payment under its own privacy policy.
- Our service providers host this website and our email and file storage: Netlify (website and order form) and Google (email and files). Some of these may store data outside Australia.
We use an AI assistant to help draft and design booklets. Your information is used only to complete your order.
How long we keep it
We delete your photos, story and booklet files 90 days after your order is complete, unless you ask us to keep them longer (for example, to reprint later). We keep basic invoice records for as long as tax law requires.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time by emailing hello.fondfarewell@gmail.com. We'll respond within 30 days.
Cookies
This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies.
Concerns
If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, please email us first so we can put it right. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
